Are we in trouble for nuclear war?

any who has watched the news in the last 2 days has seen that north korea has been testing nuclear weopons and missles then they has started saying that they will attack US and south korean war sips if they do anything they do want them to do.... now im wondering if korea will attack a US warship and if they do will we use WMD's against them or will we leave korea alone
