As for your first question, since I'm guessing you don't really know her all that well, I'd give her the benefit of the doubt. Maybe she really does have a trip. And maybe she only said "okay" because she's trying to play it cool. I think you should definitely call her next week. If she's interested she'll be psyched that you called.
