Is Cal Poly SLO Computer Engineering program really good?

Cal Poly is an excellent choice for engineering but what are your other choices? The UCSC, UCR, UCSB's school of engineering are small compared to the rest of the university and not as well known. I don't know anything about SDSU or UCM.
