What going on with my eye?

Last night I noticed I had this blotch on my eye. It's sort of an off yellow color, with red around it. It doesn't hurt but my eye keeps going more blurry then it normally does. I've got the start of glaucoma, and was wondering if this could have to do with it? I freaked out when I thought of that, because you can go blind from it. I no absolutely nothing about how the eye functions, and what not. So I was just wondering what this spot is? It's not just a little speck, it's pretty good size. Should I be worried?

Is it okay that my parents expect me to ask my friends if their parents could get them jobs?

My family is not originally from the U.S. My father worked as a custodian at a company for 8 years and got laid off last year. He has been looking for a new job ever since, but things are not looking good. Lately he is convinced that anyone that gets a job gets one through connections and he wants me to ask all my friends if their parents could get him a job. It makes me feel so uncomfortable doing that because I don't know their parents well. My dad had an interview at a school which is in town X recently, and he wanted me to ask my friend whose aunt is the mayor of town X to see if she could get him the job or back him or something!?, I refused, because first of all my friend and her aunt aren't very close, and secondly I have met the lady once in my life. Today he got really mad at me because he hasn't gotten a call with the results from the interview yet. LIKE IT'S ALL MY FAULT that he doesn't have a job because I didn't utilize my "connections". My mom is a nanny and getting kind of burned out by it, back in the home country she was a teacher but now she would like to work at our local library. She's making me ask my friends if their parents have any connections with the library that could get her the job (I asked, they don't). Am i being ridiculous or are they relying too much on me? Lastly, I am an undergraduate at a state school and I haven't had a "real" job yet, plus I'm shy so my "connections" are limited.

What can I do to make my apartment smell good?

Ok, I live in a 2 bedroom 1 bath apartment with my room mate and we have 2 dogs. One of them is mine which is potty trained but the other is a new puppy which isn't potty trained. The apartment is starting to smell bad and I don't know what to do about it. I work 6 days a week and when I come home and walk through the door I get that first whiff of bad smell and it is starting to drive me crazy. I don't like using the spary air freshners because it makes me sneeze but I'd like some solution to first possibly try and eliminate some or all of the odors and 2. have something that will keep the apartment smelling fresh at all times...what can I do? That is what my aunt did to my Grandfather. He died the NEXT day. She called me and cussed me out because I told the Doctor to put it back to his regular dose. He was in excruciating pain and begging for help. I wasn't about to leave that hospital until he got his regular dose back up. When I got home she called me and went off. I told her she could watch him die without pain medication because I would not. She called a few hours later and told me she did not want him in pain and had orderd morphine. He died that night. I think she killed him to be totally honest. It is a shame that an 85 year old WWII Veteran who fought from the Beaches of Normandy all the way to rescue people in concentration camps who was a part of our 4th infantry that received a purple heart and the bronze medal had to spend his very last day on earth begging for his pain medication because his daughter lowerd it. This makes me think she did the same thing to my Grandmother. What do you all think?

It's okay to add a little more cereal, it won't hurt the baby. The guidelines are just that - advice, not rules. The baby won't adjust right away, you just have to keep offering it on a spoon and eventually the baby will come to realize it's food. It's going to take time, and you just have to be patient, which I know isn't easy when they only sleep 2 hours at a time. I went through the same thing.

How can I separate glued-up (ABS/PVC) joints in an RV waste-water system?

I have what seems to me to be an impossible situation. I live in an RV which uses two separate holding tanks for the wastewater that comes from the toilet and the sinks/shower. When I went to open the gate valve to empty the completely full toilet holding tank, the linkage which connects the pull handle to the gate valve snapped off inside the gate valve embly, without draining any of the tank!. The gate valve embly is made of PVC and is glued directly to an ABS elbow which is glued to the holding tank. The outflow of the gate valve is connected to a "T" which is connected to the common drain pipe shared with the other holding tank and it's own gate valve and elbow. As all of these linked fittings and valves occur in a very small space, there is 0" of straight pipe between any and all of these pieces. I cannot cut out any of this embly without completely destroying what a replacement embly would be glued to! It looks like in order to replace these valves and fitting that I would also have to replace both holding tanks themselves, at substantial cost and effort. It also looks to me that the ONLY other way out is if I could separate and remove the ABS fittings which attach directly to the holding tanks. Then I could rebuild this idiotic mess. But how on earth could I remove such fittings that are very well and tightly glued on. (Also, there is very little room to work in and it is not possible to access the part of the fittings that are nearly ed up to the underside of the bottom of the RV.) I should add that I was eventually able to drain the toilet holding tank by cutting into the gate valve embly itself with a hot knife and removing a section of plastic which allowed me to grab the edge of the actual gate itself and slide it open. Of course, this means that the gate valve is destroyed and must be replaced. But that was already the case when the opening handle linkage snapped off and started this nightmare. The only solution short of replacing the tanks that I can think of is to use the "hot knife" technique to slice out a piece of the glued up fitting and then see if I can use a hammer and chisel to loosen and pop off the rest of the fitting. But that method sounds fraught with complications and chances of destroying the work. So what the ????? can I do to solve this dilemma?

Junior in college looking for some help?

I am going into my junior year of college. By this time, I should have about 60 credits already. I have 49. Last semester, I really messed up. I take full responsibility for that. I received 2 D's, C-, C, and B. That brought my semester GPA to a 1.74. My overall GPA went from a 3.109 to a 2.690. I understand that I am only halfway through my college career so far, but I am trying to figure out if it would be a smart idea on planning on a 5th year already. To try to make up for missing credits, the last two semesters I have tried taking 6 cles instead of 5, and both times, this has ended awfully. Summer cles are very expensive, and I work full time in the summer. Another factor to look at is that I am currently an RA (Resident istant) and being at school for an extra year may allow for further advancement, ie. becoming an ARD (istant Resident Director) or RD (Resident Director). I am so confused, and have just recently gotten ahold of my advisor to try to figure all of this out. Any ideas? Thanks so much!

As the head of the office administration, I have to decide on the office renovation plans because we are setting up a larger workplace for our staff and employees. You can access DOS from the start menu. Just go to start and click on programs, accessories, Command prompt and there is the DOS prompt. Another way you can access the DOS prompt is to start your computer in safe mode. So what you need to do is... Restart your comp, Before the windows screen hit F8. If this doesn't work restart again and hold down the shift key. Now if this still doesn't you may need a start disk. Ok now you want to add commands? Ok here we go... after you access DOS type C: to change to C drive. Then type dir\p. This will bring up the directory. Now if you know what your doing you can type EDIT and then change or add commands.. Good Luck

i dont even want to imagine, but i can tell you its bad, high unemployment, corruption, there was war, before war, as kosovo was part of serbia, they were under economic sanction for 10 years, and before that it was most economically backward region of former yugoslavia. country i like most in region is croatia, they have great sea, nice weather, they are not in EU yet, but they have much less corruption in government, they have had lot of foreign investments, so its really cool place to be, i been to croatia last year for month and i liked it very much. i would say that greece sounds nice but after all those riots, i think they have serious social and political issues there.

Need help starting my 3.5 hp Briggs and Stratton lawn mower motor?

Haha, I know this problem. One, wear concealer on the cuts. Make it blend in as best as you can, don't use a lot either, just so the redness of them isn't too obvious. Next, depending on where you cut yourself or how many times, wear bracelets over it. If you can't do that, then wear gloves, I guess. Or, if your like me and won't wear gloves, then keep your arm down, and hope no body notices.

Im afraid there is no better way to level than to quest. You could do dungeons which i find more fun and the added in armour rewards but that would take much longer to level. You can however speed up your questing by having enchants and buying/making good armour so you can kill things faster. At lvl 77 its best to get a swift flying mount as they take you around much faster especially in zones like storm peaks. There are ways u can quest with a friend or a group (but not as a raid). Then you will quest much faster. I have seen much people link 2 monitors to a keyboards. Each monitor is a different account but same cl and level and you quest with them together making it much faster. You should count yourself lucky they reduced the xp needed from 60 to 70 by 30%.

Is it rude to ask for gas money when someone requests to ride along to an out of town event?

I don't think so. But I get a lot of flak for bringing this up. We often drive two hours out of town (plus garage parking) to recreational events that happen to be a mutual destination for other family members and/or friends. Naturally, the group tends to coalesce into a carpool arrangement at the request of said people, since our car is large enough to accommodate a few extra bodies. They never offer to contribute gas money, and after asking them to chip in, I usually get something to the extent of "well, you'd be going there anyways". It drives me crazy, as this happens often and I get painted as the bad guy for even bringing it up. Gas is expensive! It's like the cost of gas is some intangible throwaway expense that is rude to even bring up. I am not wealthy, and I think it's more than fair for people to contribute their fair share.

Dog suffering from separation anxiety?

Hi - I am a very experienced dog owner. I adopted a dog from a shelter a year and a half ago that suffers from separation anxiety. Before me, she was adopted for less than a day and returned because she was inexperienced and couldn't handle her. She is "unadoptable" for most families. Her tempermant is exceptional other than that - very sweet, mellow and she has become a great companion for my other dog. Her separation anxiety is so bad that she has eaten her way through a wire crate, plastic cargo crate, ripped the crate tray to shreds, moves herself across the room while in the crate and slobbers so much that her whole body is wet. I've tried every possible invention available to help her. I've taken her to a behaviorist that costs $250 an hour. She put her on Xanax and is now on Prozac. It helps but she still slobbers. Every day there is a pool of drool in the crate. Does anybody else have this issue? Have you ever been able to take the dog off of meds and what worked for you

He's never done this before and is such fun to be with. My other is totally laid back where Buzz is very hypo and suffers from epilepsy, Has anyone any ideas why he has just started to do this. Dna results explanation?

My results came back stating "Peter Rodriguez is not excluded as the biological father of Jonathon Rodriguez. The next paragraph states "The Combined Parentage Index is 348,886 (corresponding to a Probablity of Paternity of 99.99%)". Then the alelles are listed. 15 were tested. One of my son`s numbers matched one of the alleged father`s(Peter) for each and every alelle. Does this mean he is the father? The only thing that gets me is that there is no percentage if he is the father or not. Isn`t there supposed to be 0% if he isn`t and greater than 99% if he is the father? Please explain. I`m pretty sure the results state that he is the father though. Just need confirmation from someone who experienced this before. By the way, the DNA paternity test is an over the counter Identigene test which was sent with payment to a lab and i received the results a week later. Please let me know. :)

My students started getting antsy as well. I put up new art work in the hall and new bulletin boards in the clrooms. As the behavior continued, I asked why I would work to redecorate our clroom if school was almost over. This will help with their mindset, but not fix everything. Plan lessons that are more engaging and stick to the rules/consequences/routines/procedures as much as possible as your schedule is altered for end of school activities. Try not to alter your room as much as possible. If they see you packing up, they will decide its over.

Therapy is the key you cant have on without the other. However if the phychiatrist gives you proper diagnosis it may make you feel better knowing whawt you have. It sounds alot like post traumitic stress disorder that could have brought on something like social anxiety disorder or depression. Treating minor wounds on small children?

My 2yr old son and I were playing in the yard and I accidentally hit him in the spine with a post hole digger. I am a vegetarian. My husband and I gave my daughter $3000.00 for her wedding, which is in 3 weeks. I just found out that the rehearsal dinner is being held at a BBQ restaurant that has no options for food for me, and that the wedding dinner also has no meatless options. I realize that these are only two meals out of my life but I feel like I have been slapped in the face. Also my daughter knows that at least two other wedding guests are vegetarian. Emancipation in BC Canada?

I don't live with my parents and I havn't since August 17th 2009 (over 1 year ago.) I've lived with my boyfriend and his family who have graciously let me stay. My dad is very physically abusive and one fight is the reason I decided I could not take it anymore. My mother insists I am a stupid ***** and that I am mentally unstable as I was forced into seeing psychiatrists and taking many different medications in my years of living there. They are rarely even home and there is no proper food. I dropped out of school at the start of Grade 10 to start working. I am 17 now, I was 15 when I left. My boyfriend is 19. We want to move out and although my parents don't care whatsoever as far as I know it's still not legal for me to move out somewhere and pay rent. So I'm wondering first, since I've heard many different things about the legal moving out age in Canada-- I am in BC and is there such thing as an age where a person under 18 can move out without parental consent? I've heard 16, I've heard 19 (19 doesn't make sense to me since legally you're an adult at 18...) If it's 16, great, where can I go to get proof of that. Otherwise, where can I go or who do i call to begin to become emancipated. I would love to resolve things peacefully with my parents but not by moving back with them, by having them understand and agree to emancipation, but if they won't I still don't know where to start. Ok so I would advise you not to look into this unless you are absolutely positive you want to pursue this path. The ALP/IB programs are very time consuming and give you hardly any social life, if you enjoy extra curricular activities than you might want to ponder this decision a little bit more. think about if it is worth getting to take college courses early, and being guaranteed a spot in an Ivy league school. I also think you should definitely go ahead and sign up for regular cles as a back up in case you don't make it, you definitely don't want to be stuck with the leftover cles. Lastly, you should go with visual arts, it is very broad and useful, and it can help you with allot of career choices compared to the select few you would get with drama or music.

What is causing my lower-back pain, especially after sitting?

My lower back has been hurting me almost constantly for the past several months. It has gotten to the point that I avoid sitting down whenever and however possible. I can only get on the computer by lying slightly reclined on my bed and using my laptop. Some days are better or worse than others, but the pain persists. The only other symptom I have is that I am rather stiff all over when I wake up in the mornings. I walk like Frankenstein for about 15 to 30 minutes, and then I can walk more normally, even though my lower-back still hurts. Bloodwork is inconclusive, and so for the doctors haven't been able to figure out what is going on with me. Can someone help?

Am I weird for this? Have you ever found yourself doting to yourself after the fact of relieving yourself because it was so relieving? I do this often. On occasion, he insists my packages (from UPS or Fed EX) are not there, although the on-line tracking indicates they were signed for and delivered (by another doorman). My 3 best buddies and I planned a road trip to Cali to run in a 10k race we do each year and as always we get a hotel room with two beds (2 guys to a bed). 2 of my buddies dropped out last minute and offered their spots to people they knew from work or something along those lines. The first night in the hotel, my buddy and I agreed to share a bed and when I was ready to go to sleep, I did my usual routine which includes stripping down to my tighty whities to sleep in. One of the fill-in guys got all hurt and said he thinks it was rude of me not to ask everyone in the room if they were comfortable with me sleeping in my briefs. I explained to him that since we are all dudes and have at some point seen another dude in their underwear, it shouldn't be a big deal. The next night he got his own room with the other fill-in and then bitched and moaned back to my buddies about how rude and inconsiderate I was. I have had this dream only once in my entire life. Well once I went to sleep, and i wasn't under that much stress I'l note. I awoke in a garden, and it was very beautiful, and I walked around in this garden and I kind of knew it was a dream. And this man dressed in white, he came up to me. He was young about 30, and looked very nice and we sat down, I asked him what his name was but he said he did not have one. And I started to feel very good, Physically and Mentally. I felt I was in a God like position, and I could control everything. It was a feeling that I can still remember to this day, It was indescribable, and I asked him what he was doing here in the Garden and he said he was protecting it from Evil. And he explained to me thats why I felt the way I did, because there was absolutely no malevolence in this Garden, and that he did not really have any power at all, but he Evil -Man did, he had the power of the Garden but he could not ever experience its beauty. And he said the Evil-Man is here and it was up in the sky, and ordinary man just like the man in the Garden, he said that I must choose now who to part with and the Man in the sky showed his hand out to me, while the Man in the Garden looked at me, the Man in the sky was telling me that he could show me the secret of the stars (witch I cant interpret) and promised me power over Earth. While the Man in the Garden looked at me and tolled me it was my choice. And then thats all. I don't remember much of the details but this was a life changing experience, and thats why I remember so much of it, because I think about it 24/7. If you are majoring in nursing then it shouldn't matter what you minor in. Unless they have a special anesthetist minor, I would say to go for what you are interested in. Can someone get delirious due to high blood pressure? What if the person has recently had a mild brain stroke?

My Grandfather has had a mild brain stroke. This has left him partially paralyzed in the left leg and left hand. He's been making good progress moving his leg to the point where he can now walk with a cane after only two months. Doctors say he'll get better in the next 5 to 6 months and will be able to walk without a cane. His speech centers are intact and he has no problem with logic and thinking and speaking (a bit slurred but getting better). However, yesterday, for the first time he all of a sudden started talking about things that didn't exist.....My question is, could this be because of the stroke or because his blood pressure seemed to be high on that day?

Well, the plot is very developed and you can definitely do a lot with it. You also have your dialogue down pat. I just suggest working a little more on character description and scenery. That way your reader will feel more familiar with the story, rather than at a loss for what everything is supposed to look and feel like. Other than that, it sounds like a really good story! Keep working on it; it sounds like you can go pretty far with it. Good luck!

Facebook and Friend Requests?

I use to be able to send out as many friend requests as I wanted like on MySpace. But now I can send out 4 or 5 and then it blocks me or something. It happens with certain people, I'm unable to add people I work with but the friend requests go through with other people. Almost like there is a trick to it, for example I can't add Steph M, Sherry S, Tim V or any of the people I work with but requests go through with people from high school. So there might be some way to fix it by adding more schools to my profile. Because Facebook has been "Broken" for the last 3 months saying "Do you know this user personally?" 80% of the time I go on.
