What questions should I ask a Laboratory Animal Specialized Vet?

There is a guest speaker coming to speak to my Zoology cl soon, he is a Vet who works at a research facility that uses animals. What kinds of questions should I ask him? My cl is about how to humanely care for animals in the lab setting.
